Office moving

An office move has one goal: on Sunday morning your team sits down at their new desks and gets to work. We plan the move in advance from the new office layout, work over the weekend, and also move what ordinary movers prefer not to touch: server rooms, sensitive equipment, safes and archives.

What we move

  • Office and company moves of any size
  • Desk, cabinet and partition disassembly and reassembly
  • Computers and screens in protective packing
  • Server rooms and network cabinets
  • Archives, files and safes
  • Kitchenettes, fridges and coffee machines
  • R&D lab and test equipment in the office
  • Removal of old furniture

Our process

  1. 01Plan

For large offices we visit; for small ones we work from photos and video. We review the new layout and number every room and workstation.

  2. 02Packing and labelling kit

Boxes and labels arrive in advance. Each employee packs their desk and labels it with the new workstation number.

  3. 03Weekend move

Disassembly, computer packing, transport in shock-absorbing trucks and a project manager at both sites.

  4. 04Placement by workstation

Every box, chair and computer goes to its own desk. Furniture is reassembled and IT connects.

  5. 05First morning

A joint walk-through and final adjustments before the team arrives.

Why an office move is a project

Every hour your team cannot work costs money, and the small mistakes cost the most: a box in the wrong room, a computer without its cable, a desk that does not fit the elevator. So we start from a plan, number every workstation and move in a window that does not disrupt work.

Computers, servers and sensitive equipment

Computers and screens are packed in protective packaging and labelled by workstation, together with their cables. The server room moves according to your IT team's shut-down and start-up order. Our lab-moving experience makes the difference here: hi-tech offices with R&D labs or test equipment get the same care as a research lab.

Moving in stages

A large company does not have to move all at once. You can move one department each weekend, start with the archive and storeroom, and leave management and the server room for last.

Common questions about office moving

Do you work at weekends?

Yes. Most office moves are done at weekends so your team starts the week in the new office.

How long does an office move take?

An office of up to a few dozen people usually moves in one day. Larger offices move in stages, according to a plan we build together.

Who connects the computers?

Your IT team. We pack, move and place every computer at its desk, so all that is left is to plug in.

Do you move safes and archives?

Yes. Heavy safes are moved with suitable equipment, by crane if needed. Archives are packed in folder order and labelled by destination cabinet.

How much does an office move cost?

Price depends on office size, how much furniture needs disassembly, floors and access, and working hours. Small offices are quoted from photos and video, larger ones after a visit.
